This was the second project with our clients, whose family now included two young boys. They had recently acquired a stunning 1911 Albert Farr-designed home in the Pacific Heights area of San Francisco. The four-story home features sweeping views of the Golden Gate and includes a 300-year old Cypress tree in the rear garden. They requested alterations in two areas: renovations to the boys’ bedrooms, closets and bathroom, and, two levels down, a proper connection from the family room to the garden. The first was accomplished by relocating walls, replacing windows, providing new built-in cabinets and upgrading finishes to better reflect the home’s architecture.
