The original residence, a 19th century
farm house in Alamo, is situated on a large site allowing
the addition of a pool, pool house, landscaped area with gazebo,
sport court, fountain, patios and lawns. The design concept
was to marry the new with the old seamlessly and to create
a pleasant outdoor experience for a family who loves nature,
gardening and sports activities. The new pool house contains
a small kitchen, a large gathering room with a wall of sliding
glass doors, a large fireplace, guest room, bath, and storage
and exercise rooms on the lower level. The landscape was designed
by Babcock and Hansen of Lafayette.
