The owners decided to remove the converted pool cabana and build a more appropriate house on this small but secluded property. The site was very constrained by the existing swimming pool and the set-backs off the street and neighboring property lines. Since the owners were a couple, who no longer need to accommodate children, we designed the house with a generous great room and two modest bedrooms. The great room is two-stories high, with an overlooking bedroom-hall, to create even more of a sense of spaciousness in a relatively small building. The residence is crafted in an unassuming farm-house style which reflects the sense of intimacy of the interiors and the site.
